Rychel has been recognized for her leadership and performance on the field, having been named a captain for the North Allegheny softball team this season. Her skills have not gone unnoticed, as she was also highlighted as a preseason player to watch by Trib HSSN.
In her sophomore year, Rychel earned a spot on the 6A second-team for the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association All-State team. Additionally, she was named first-team Big 56 All-Conference and All-WPIAL, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
During her sophomore season, Rychel batted an impressive .438, accumulating 28 hits, including 12 doubles, and contributing 13 runs batted in (RBI) and 13 runs scored in 19 games played. Her defensive skills are equally notable, with a .984 fielding percentage, 51 putouts, and nine assists.
