Moya Brennan, the lead singer of the iconic Irish folk group Clannad, has died at the age of 73, as confirmed by her family on April 13, 2026. Born Máire Philomena Ní Bhraonáin on August 4, 1952, in Dublin, Brennan’s musical journey began in her childhood, leading to the formation of Clannad in 1970 alongside her family members.
