Notably, 84 percent of Americans would prefer to file their taxes rather than compete on a reality dating show, highlighting the anxiety surrounding this annual task. Furthermore, 51 percent of individuals admit to spending more time worrying about tasks than actually completing them.
Jackson Hewitt’s initiative comes at a time when 61 percent of Americans report feeling relief specifically from filing their taxes. This sentiment underscores the importance of addressing tax-related stress, as 53 percent of people feel a sense of accomplishment after completing significant tasks.
In conjunction with ‘Get It Done Day,’ Jackson Hewitt is also tapping into the desire for organization. The company found that 56 percent of Americans would prioritize home organization projects if given a dedicated day, while 40 percent would focus on filing their taxes.
