Five Guys BOGO Promotion Set to Return
Five Guys is offering a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) burger promotion from March 9 to March 12, 2026, following an overwhelming response to a similar offer earlier this year. The initial promotion, launched on February 17, 2026, coincided with the chain’s 40th birthday and resulted in significant demand and chaos at many locations.
During the first BOGO offer, some Five Guys locations ran out of stock, leading to long wait times for customers. In response to the overwhelming demand, Five Guys will distribute approximately $1.5 million in bonuses to store employees, acknowledging the strain placed on them during the promotion.
Customers can redeem the BOGO offer by ordering online at FiveGuys.com or through the Five Guys app using the code FGAFTERPARTY. However, the offer is limited to one redemption per reward code, per transaction, and per account, and is not valid for in-store orders.
Jerry Murrell, co-founder of Five Guys, expressed his gratitude for the customer response, stating, “We were genuinely humbled by your response.” He also acknowledged the challenges faced during the initial promotion, saying, “We screwed the first one up so bad, we’re trying to redo it.”
Five Guys, founded in 1986 by Jerry and Janie Murrell, has grown to nearly 2,000 locations in over 25 countries. The chain’s popularity continues to rise, driven by its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
As the new BOGO promotion approaches, observers are eager to see how the company will manage the expected surge in demand and whether any lessons have been learned from the previous experience. Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific measures that will be implemented to ensure a smoother operation this time around.
